Holland & Holland , built for John Rigby of London (by Arrizabalaga) Beautiful Cased 12ga

Here is a fabulous 12 gauge Holland & Holland style self-opening 12 gauge sidelock ejector, built for John Rigby Co. of London by Arrizabalaga of Spain.
The barrels are 27" with 2 ¾" chambers and excellent bores, choked .005/.012 (about skeet/improved cylinder.) (There is some bluing loss toward the middle of both barrels.) The rib is engraved: THE SACKVILLE. The gun locks up tight, and the ejectors are strong and in time. There are excellent carved leaf fences, and the stepped action features profuse acanthus scroll engraving, along with: MADE FOR JOHN RIGBY & Co. There are gold-inlaid rotary cocking indicators. There is a rolled-edge trigger-guard, and the front trigger is articulated. The firing pins are removable. The fore-end has an Anson push-rod release. The figured stock has a few minor scratches, and measures 1 5/8" x 2 1/8" x 14 5/8" with cast off (for a right hand shot.) The weight is 6 lbs 9 oz. This beautiful gun comes in a leather John Rigby case. A high quality sidelock.
