Cobra Optics Merlin EX HDSA Gen 1 Night Vision Weapon Scope

The Merlin EX DSA and HDSA™ comprises a Gen 1 Cobra Optics Merlin EX™ monocular with either a DSA (Day Scope Adaptor) or a HDSA (Hinged Day Scope Adaptor). Either of these adaptors allow the Merlin EX™ to be fitted to the back of your day telescopic sight enabling you to shoot at night with the day telescopic sight still attached to the gun. The HDSA allows the night vision unit to be pivoted out of the way enabling you to use you day sight alone. The Merlin EX™ has a 1.0x magnification and a 40° field of view. It has a 26mm f1.4 lens and has an IR built into the side of the unit. The Merlin EX™ uses two LR1/E90 batteries (not included). An additional high power IR illuminator is recommended for best performance. The HDSA comes with two adaptor rings for attachment to the lens/bodyshell of a Cobra Optics Merlin™ series monoculars two blinds for lenses of NV monoculars – allows for length/blocks extraneous light – and seven adaptor rings for attachment to the eyepiece of day telescopic sights. The adaptor has locking positions at 90° and 180°. This is useful when operating at night in both brightly lit areas where you do not need to use the unit and then moving to dark areas allowing you to flip the unit in to position when required
