The Olight SR51 Intimidator is one of the smaller lights in the Intimidator series but still packs an impassive punch with a high output of 900 lumens from its Cree XM-L U2 LED and a beam range of up to 475m. It’s a hand-cannon of a torch providing outstanding performance for its size. The protruding rubber side switch is easy to locate (even when wearing gloves) and gives access to the two light modes (High: 900 lumens; Low: 250 lumens) and strobe mode. The SR51 comes with a battery magazine that will take either 6x CR123A (supplied free) or 6x RCR123 batteries. If you prefer to use 18650 batteries then an optional battery magazine is available. A stippled orange peel reflector creates a smooth beam profile and the free diffuser cap is fantastic for providing a wide even spread of light – useful for many different applications. A flat tail cap means the SR51 can tail-stand and be used to illuminate an entire room. As with all of Olight’s Intimidator series the SR51 comes in an aluminium case which contains the torch a high quality holster free diffuser cap neck/ wrist lanyard spare o-rings and the instructions manual.
