Browning Model 1886 .45/70

Here's a Browning Model 1886 Limited Edition Grade 1 Rifle. This rifle is patterned after the famous Winchester 1886 and was manufactured during its 100th anniversary in 1986 only. This rifle is chambered for the .45-70 Government cartridge and wears a 26 octagon barrel with open sights. The full length magazine holds 8 cartridges. There is no "tang safety" added and it remains true to the original in this regard. It is fitted with satin finished walnut stocks and has a traditional steel crescent buttplate. The metal has a nicely polished blue finish. Overall condition is excellent although there are a few minor handling marks, the most notable a few shallow dents & impressions on the right side of the forearm. There are no cracks or chips. I'd grade this rifle 98-99% overall. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the bore is excellent. This rifle remains UNFIRED since new!
