This Mk. VI was manufactured by Webley in 1918. It is stamped with an '18 on the frame with several other proof marks indicating it was also delivered to the English government in 1918. It features "broad arrow" government acceptance marks on every part of the gun except the screws. t
This gun has a story to tell if it is possible to trace it.
The bore is shiny and the rifling is intact. All function is normal, the cylinder locks well, and the internal parts are in remarkably nice shape. The three serial numbers match and the fully intact serial number on the back edge of the cylinder, as well as the government arrow and Crown inspection stamp on the back face of the cylinder, indicate the the cylinder has not been shaved for .45 ACP rounds.
I will include the holster shown in the pictures. Its a Webley Mk. VI (or Inglis or Browning HP) web holster stamped "Z.L.&T.Ltd 1943" with another government broad arrow. It obviously is not original to this Webley - I think it was actually made in Canada.
Buyer pays actual shipping cost. I will ship via Royal Mail for the flat rate cost of £13
