Here's a very nice Smith & Wesson U.S Army Model 1917 revolver.
The matching serial number (48603) is properly marked on butt, cylinder, extractor star, yoke, barrel and right stock. This revolver is in excellent overall condition and retains about 97-98% of the original commercial quality polished blue finish.
This revolver was manufactured during World War One in about May of 1918 but apparently saw little if any service. Overall, a really nice example!
