This post-war transitional model revolver was made in 1946, and shipped to J. L. Galef in New York City, as attested to by a factory letter. The revolver has been professionally refinished, but the small number of this model manufactured should keep the collectors interested. The revolver is very nice looking, with ivory colored diamond shapes inlet into the right grip. If the collectors don’t show enough interest, this will make someone a nice revolver for home protection. With its 5” barrel, it is not overly heavy but still has a long enough sight radius to provide good accuracy. The bore is bright with sharp rifling.
A revolver is the ultimate home protection handgun: there is no safety to worry about and nothing to jam.
Just point the barrel where you want the bullets to go and pull the trigger.
