This is a well-used WWII vintage M91/30 manufactured and date stamped in 1942 by the Izhevsk factory.
There are several numeric inspection stamps on the stock and secondary parts, and there is an OO accuracy test mark on the left side of the stock. An Izhevsk factory arrow in a triangle is stamped on the right side of the stock. The left side of the receiver is marked:
M91/30 RUSSIAN 7.62 X 54R
C.A.I. GEORGIA VT. 9130010674.
The non-matching bayonet was also made by the Izhevsk factory and was hand serialized UU2655.
The bolt, receiver, and barrel are in pretty nice shape, especially where they sat in the stock or under the handguard and were rarely exposed. There is some loss of finish at the exposed end of the barrel. The bore looks a bit frosty, but in the light, it is shiny with sharp rifling.
