Here's a rather scarce, very late production WWII Nazi issued P.38 pistol. Manufactured by Mauser, this pistol carries the "svw45" code that was used by Mauser in 1945.
The mechanics are in good working order including the safety/decocker. The bore is excellent and exhibits bright, sharp rifling that is free of pitting or erosion. It comes with two magazines. One magazine is marked "WaA706/jvd" on the left and "P.38/U" on the right. The second magazine is marked "P.38v" on the left side and is Walther "E/359" accepted on the spine. Also included is a very good condition black soft shell holster. The holster is marked "P.38" on the rear. It is dated 1944, is Eagle/WaA920 accepted, and maker code marked "cey" for "Karl Budischovsky u. Soehne Osterreichische Lederindustrie A.G.".
The holster is free of tears, holes, non-original markings, and has bright stitching, never having been "shoe-polished".
