This late war Armaguerra Cremona M41 is serial number QU41, which would be about 60,000 rifles from the end of production (there were 9999 rifles in each letter block). Like many other M41s, this one is in excellent condition, seeing little if any deployment. The receiver and stock serial numbers match, and appear to be original. Like other late M41s, this one lacks a maker's mark or year of manufacture. The only markings on the receiver or barrel are the serial number and a small Savoy-like crest in an oval. The bore is bright and shiny and everything functions perfectly. I believe the leather sling is also original to the gun.
The M41 bayonet and scabbard do not match the rifle. They were made in 1941 by C. Gnutti, and unfortunately, the metal tip is broken off of the leather scabbard. The leather is stamped C. Gutti 1941. The cross guard of the bayonet is stamped on one side with a serial number that I believe is AG712. There is an obscured stamp after the last digit that could be a fourth number or some other stamp. The other side of the guard has an obscured stamp that I believe is/was C. Gnutti – 1941.
