Colt SAA in 44-40. 4 ¾ Barrel. Shipped from Colt to Simmons Hardware Company in St. Louis, MO on 12/30/1898. Includes Colt Archive Letter. Matching serial numbers. Grips appear to be original to the gun. Looks to be all original, however, most of the original finish is gone.
Bore has fair rifling.
however it is a typical black-powder antique bore.
Gun shoots well for its age.
