Colt PRE-WAR SUPER MATCH .38

his is the factory target version of the Super .38 automatic...the equivalent to the famous National Match .45 but in the .38 Super caliber. This pistol is in excellent, 100% original condition. All components appear to be original to this pistol including the barrel which is marked "COLT SUPER 38 AUTO MATCH" beneath the chamber and marked with the circled "MB" Match Barrel stamp on the left lug.
This pistol functions perfectly and has an excellent bright, sharp bore. It comes with one correct pre-war 2-tone magazine that's in excellent shape. Also included are the original box which numbers to the gun. The box is in rather rough shape and has several repairs but is all there, including the very good "SUPER MATCH" end label.
The original, period correct instruction sheet is there, as are "Shooting Suggestions" and "Special Instructions" pamphets, as well as the bore brush.
