This revolver retains about 96% of its metal finish. The barrel has a few light marks scattered through the left side as well as a mark on the bottom in front of the ejector rod housing. The grip frame has a couple of light marks by the screw connecting the two pieces on the butt and a mark on the right side above the rear of the trigger guard outside the screw hole in that location. The trigger guard has a nick on the right side at the front-bottom which has a raised burr and some thinning on the bottom right edge. The frame retains nearly all of its beautiful case-color with only light handling marks. The cylinder has a faint turn line which has not gone through the finish and some scattered very light to light scrapes and scuffs. The unfinished side faces of the hammer have light discoloration from oxidation. The knurling on the hammer is sharp as are the screw heads. The markings are clear.
Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine condition. The revolver looks Excellent at arms length and would likely be Excellent but for the scuffing on the cylinder and the burr on the trigger guard.
The action functions correctly.
