This pistol is in nice condition; it has a significant amount of its original finish remaining and is in excellent condition mechanically. It didn’t get much use over the years -- from Colt’s records, it looks like it was manufactured circa 1923, so it’s now about 100-years-old .
Most of the finish loss is probably just from storage and handling that wasn’t optimal at some point in its life.
