IT HAS ALL MAJOR MATCHING PARTS. EVERYTHING IS STAMPED "W" OR "E" ON SMALL PARTS.
HAS A VERY GOOD BORE WITH STRONG RIFLING. SOLID STOCK WITH MATCHING WOOD AND FINISH. THIS IS A SCARCE RIFLE TO FIND WITH MATCHING MAJOR PARTS AND IN THIS CONDITION.
HISTORICAL NOTE: DURING WWI SERGEANT ALVIN YORK OF THE U.S. 82ND DIVISION WAS AWARDED THE :MEDAL OF HONOR" AND CARRIED A 1917 RIFLE.
