This is a beautiful pre-64 Model 70 Winchester chambered in 30-06. Manufactured in 1957, it is near flawless, with just a very small scrape in the finish on the bottom of the stock about 1" in front of the butt. It includes a set of Redfield bases and rings. Installed is a Lyman 57 micometer peep sight, which alone is valuable, and makes the rifle very accurate with iron sights and is quite effective for hunting. The Lyman sight can be removed if scope mounting is desired, or if you want to use the factory rear open sight.
