D. Pedersoli Kodiak Express Double Rifle 50 Cal

This is a excellent condition “lightly used” Davide Pedersoli “Kodiak Express” black powder “Double rifle” in .50 Caliber. This rifle does not have any import markings. It was made in Italy.
This rifle is a reproduction of a Percussion Era (1810-1860) hunter’s double rifle. This style double rifle was used throughout the world during this period.



This modern-day reproduction of a Kodiak Express double rifle features: (1) Percussion ignition 28” round barrels with 1 in 24” twist. Barrel has “blued” finish. (2) Barrel has ramped dovetailed front sight. (3) The rear sights are a Mid-range style “Vernier” tang sight 250 yard ($200 added value). (4) Stock is walnut and mid length. (5) Sling swivel attachment in front is on ramrod sleeve. Sling attachment in rear is in the stock. (6) Double triggers. (7) Case colored lock plates, hammers and trigger guard. (7) Butt plate is “Neidner style with top pointed fit. It is polished blued finished. (8) Stock has universal fit for either RH or LH shooters. Stock is “lightly” cast off for a RH shooter at the toe but will fit a LH shooter fine. (9) Ramrod is wooden with brass tips. The condition of this rifle is excellent. (1) The metal surface finishes are all excellent. (2) The stock is excellent with very few handling marks. (3) The lock and trigger function is strong. (4) The inside bore is clean and bright with sharp rifling.
