THIS SHARP LOOKING RASCAL IS A M1850 CIVIL WAR FOOT OFFICERS SWORD...IT IS 37" LONG WITH A 31" FORMIDABLE BLADE; 41" OA IN SCABBARD. SCABBARD NOT ORIGINAL TO SWORD BUT NONETHELESS A VERY GOOD MATCH..HILT HAS AN ORNATE SOLID BRASS HAND GUARD WITH FLORAL DESIGN.
GOOD INVESTMENT AND GREAT ADDITION TO ANY CIVIL WAR COLLECTION.
