This is the .22 Short Cylinder revolver.
Serial number 2002 on firearm, cylinder, and barrel.
The top of the barrel is marked J. P. Lower
Barrel length 2 1/2 "
The finish is a gray brown patina
Rosewood gripis.
Civil war era with very few 1" short cylinder lengths produced.
