This is a nice condition rifle overall. All the screw heads are nice, the function is good. No problems to note. The rifle was a 40-60 and is so marked on the barrel and carrier. The barrel has been rebored to 45-60. It is well done with a shiny bore and deeply cut rifling. I have shot this rifle with black powder loads and it is accurate and a hoot to shoot. If bought with the buy now feature, I will include reloading dies and 22 brass casings. It is an antique made in the early 1880’s
