This is a Winchester model 1892 lever action rifle in .38-40 (.38 WCF) Winchester caliber. It has a 24" octagon barrel, open sights, full length tube magazine, plain straight grip stock, and crescent steel buttplate.
The bore has some pitting, but is mostly shiny. This rifle was made in 1892, serial no. 18769 making it an ANTIQUE
