Werndl-Hobul M1867 Antique Austria-Hungary Infantry Rifle

I had read about this rifle a few years back, but this is the first time I have held one. I like the design better than the Trapdoor Springfield from an engineering and an ergonomic perspective. The rotating cylinder is inherently stronger that the trapdoor latch, and the Werndl is easier to load, fire, and eject than the trapdoor. A comprehensive military rifle collection should definitely include a Werndl. The rifle is in good condition and I would be delighted to shoot it with appropriate black powder loads.
