Antique Italian Vetterli-Vitali Model 1870/87/15 Rifle chambered in 6.5x52. The Model 1870 started out chambered in 10.35x47 with a tube magazine; converted to use the to use the Vitali magazine in 1887 and again had the magazines converted and barrels lined to use 6.5x52 Italian service ammunition in 1915. Serial number TX1175 on barrel and stock. Hex barrel marked TERNI 1890. About 90% re-arsenaled condition; arsenal repair around magazine; stock has dings. Functions as it should. Bore is dark with good rifling. Needs a good cleaning.
