Very Rare Thompson Center Silver Elite Hawken Rifle .50 cal perc. Antique!

Serial # S2744, .50 Cal, 28” stainless steel octagon barrel, factory QLA-counterbored, with a bright excellent bore, that very much appears as-new, unfired, it is not however. The stainless surfaces retain virtually all of their factory satin finish, showing a very sparsely scattered, very light handling or rack mark here or there, one must really search for them even to notice. The smooth walnut stock rates excellent, again.
The Thompson Center rear sight remains in place, the front has been replaced with a nice Lyman 17ATC high globe target sight, the tang mounted with a T/C factory vernier tang sight, and the breech plug factory drilled and tapped for T/C’s long rail scope mounting system. The mechanism works as-designed and the original ramrod is included.
A really GREAT and almost never-encountered, very limited production Silver Elite Hawken, that is perfect for the Thompson Center Arms investor, collector, and even shooter !
