This particular model, serial number 2418, was produced from 1890-1895. The low serial number indicates it was most likely made the first year of production in 1890.

Condition: 3 1/4” raised rib barrel with a very good bore, with scattered light oxidation and strong rifling throughout. The metal surfaces of this revolver still retains about 90% of the original nickel with scattered light finish loss , usual wear, some pin-prick pitting under the finish mainly on the receiver and back-strap, scattered light handling marks. The original black checkered Owl logo grips are in good condition. This was the first Iver Johnson revolver to appear with the Owl logo. The barrel to frame fit is tight and the gun functions well mechanically in single and double with correct timing and lock-up.
The current condition of the item listed has been described to the best of my ability .
