Very Rare Antique E.A.Prescott Short Frame .32 rimfire pocket revolver with ammo and case. Very rare only several hundred produced of each model.

The E.A. Prescott Revolver Co. was a relatively obscure firearms manufacturer based in Worcester, Massachusetts, during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The company was primarily active from the 1862-1867 during the civil war and while it isn't as widely known as some other firearm manufacturers, it produced some notable revolvers during its time.

Condition: 4” octagon barrel in a blue finish with a frosted bore showing some very mild pitting and strong straight line rifling. Most of the blue finish on the barrel is faded and turning to a nice antique gun-metal gray finish. Metal surfaces remain in very nice condition. The brass receiver is in very good condition for it’s age also with light scratches and handling marks. Original walnut grips are in very good condition with some light dents and handling marks. All barrel markings are clear and legible and all appropriate parts are serialized to the gun. The Cylinder will only partially rotate so the timing is off. Could be the cylinder hand or cylinder catch on the trigger? Mechanically hammer, hammer spring, trigger all work .The hammer locks up nicely in the half and full cock position. A strong hammer spring with cylinder timing that needs attention to function as it should. The current condition of the item listed has been described to the best of my ability
