Here is a Belgian manufactured pinfire pistol dating to approximately the 1870s. These were common on the U.S. market at the time and would have served as an excellent personal defense weapon. It was a very advanced design for the time period, being one of the earliest cartridge fired, double action pistols ever made.
Barrel marked A Liege/Arendt/Brevete. Serial number 5955 stamped on barrel and frame.Belgian proofs on cylinder.
Condition- Metal and wood are in very good condition. There is no pitting and the markings are crisp. Screws are all turnable. Hammer and cylinder function excellently with solid lockup and precise timing.
An excellent example of a common cowboy era sidearm!
This is an antique and does not require licence.
This is restricted to adults 21 and older though.
