Antique - Swiss Vetterli (Waffenfabrik Bern) M.78 (Model 1878 Rifle) Bolt Action Rifle in 10.4x42R Rimfire.
The barrel is 33” inches long with rifle sights and bayonet lug. The rear sight is a graduated rear sight to 1200 meters. 11-round tube magazine. The stock is in good condition with some minor handling wear, nothing major, and inspector marks on the comb area of the stock, and a metal curved butt plate.
SERIAL NUMBER is: 196585 and the receiver, barrel, and bottom metal all match! The bluing is in good strong condition, and even across the whole rifle. There is not rust present. The bore is in good strong condition as well, good crisp rifling.
