S&W 44 Double Action First Model revolver in 44 S&W Russian

This is a Smith & Wesson .44 Double Action First Model revolver in .44 S&W Russian (AKA .44 Russian). This top-break revolver was manufactured prior to 1899 and the left side of the barrel is stamped ".44 S&W CTG". It features a 6” barrel, single & double action operation, and pearl grips.
The pistol locks up solid and functions properly in both single and double action, the trigger is crisp, and the hammer spring is strong.
The chambers are clean, and the bore is slightly frosty with good lands. The cylinder is 1½” long. A nice S&W DA!
