This Number Three is in Good-plus condition with much of its refinish remaining over light surface erosion but a decent bore and outstanding mechanics for its age. But for the little play in the hinge, this revolver appears to be as tight as the day it was made. In addition to having matching serial numbered parts including the barrel latch, this revolver also has been fit with target sights. The action functions correctly including the extractor. The barrel has no play to the frame when latched and the hinge has very light play when the barrel is unlatched. The cylinder locks up with very little play on each chamber. The bore is mostly bright with shallow rifling.
This would make a good addition to a Smith & Wesson or antique revolver collection.
