Smith & Wesson No. 3

This Number Three is in Good-Very Good condition with about 40% of its finish remaining, a good bore and outstanding mechanics for its age. This revolver appears to be as tight as the day it was made. While the cylinder appears to be a replacement, the 5" barrel length and target sights are sure to attract the attention of collectors.
The action functions correctly including the extractor. The barrel has no play to the frame when latched and the hinge has no play when the barrel is unlatched. The cylinder locks up .
The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp.
