Remington Model 1890 Single Action Revolve were built between 1890 and 1896 to complete with the Colt Single Action Army - Colt SAA
Made in 1892, this Single Action 6-shot revolver features, Front half moon blade and rear Frame grooved sights, Blued finish, Shell extractor rod, Round barrel marked "Remington Arms Co. Ilion NY" on top. Serrated hammer, Checkered brown hard rubber grips with "RA" inscription, Lanyard ring, Padded wooden presentation case, Barrel length, 7.5". SN:500. Condition: Good. Good bore with light specks of aged pitting and dirt from firing with present but moderate worn rifling, Cylinder index's correctly with faint drag line. Half-Cock needs to be addressed. All metal has been polished and reblued with few faint specks of surface rust and finish wear throughout, Grips are solid with light handling wear and a small chip missing to left grip at butt. Rarely more than two or three available for sale or auction at any time.
This revolver qualifies as an Antique. I will ship with a copy of the winning bidder's Drivers License.
