Gun retains a pleasing patina overall with some light rust and pitting here and there. The only marking we can find is WARRANTED on the top of the barrel, and that's worn. East Tennessee style gun. Brass mounted. 42 inch octagon barrel. Wood has some dings and handling marks, some chips along the barrel channel. The trigger plate, holding the double set triggers, is sitting a bit lower than the woodline and should probably be addressed.
The mainspring has good tension. What's really cool, is that this gun has a ribbon tied to the hammer which reads: SECOND PREMIUM GEORGIA MOUNTAIN FAIR HIAWASSEE GEORGIA and has the Georgia state seal.
Ribbon is faded.
The gun is a hair over 57 inches long overall. Really a neat item.
