Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock/grip is a single piece walnut with a 3/4“ length forend, barrel band w/ wedge key, and capped pistol grip. There are scratches, pressure dents, and shrinkage. The ramrod has been replaced. The grip rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The smooth bore is coated in a thin layer of rust/patina. There is light erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10 for an Antique black powder pistol.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about none of its metal finish. There is heavy thinning and patina throughout. There are light pitting marks throughout. The brass is dull. The frizzen spring screw appears to have been replaced. There are rub marks on the frizzen. There are spots of rust throughout. The screw heads are tooled. The markings are somewhat blurry. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition as Antique.
