Up for sale, we have an antique Remington Model 1889 grade 2 double barreled shotgun chambered for 12 gauge with 2 5/8 inch chambers and fixed chokes. The shotgun functions with a tight lockup and a smooth opening of the action. The shotgun is in good condition overall with some cosmetic wear present throughout the bluing as well as some wear throughout the furniture. The bluing has mostly worn off and there are signs of pitting as well as surface rust present throughout the finish of the barrels. The stock and forend have some pressure dents and scratches throughout the wood although there is a small chip at the toe of the stock. The bores have surface rust and pitting present throughout and low shine. The triggers have a crisp break with a short amount of overtravel. The length of pull of the stock to the front trigger is about 14.25 inches and to the rear trigger is about 13.25 inches. The serial number on this antique shotgun is 34441.
