For your consideration, a rare Remington Elliot. 22 caliber 5 shot pistol consisting of 5 stationary barrels and a revolving firing pin manufactured from 1863-1888. This particular model definitely shows its age, having lost most of its original nickel finish, leaving a brown patina overall, and a few battle scars, dents, some pitting & wear, etc. The good points, the rifling is quite pronounced in the barrels yet, and they do appear to have a shiny finish when held up to the light. The muzzle end does seem to have the brownish patina continue at least into the barrels a bit. The barrel release mechanism and the pivot joint for loading work smoothly. The double action trigger works as intended.
