This very unique Kentucky rifle has long 42" barrel and an overall length of about 59".
The caliber of this beauty is about 40 and this example seems like it should have a decent bore after a good cleaning. The rifling is strong. All in all this is an extremely unique and rare Kentucky rifle that started life in the early 1800's as a flintlock and by the 1840's was converted to percussion.
