Colt 1862 Police Conversion Revolver ( Type 1 ) with a 6 ½" barrel in rare .38 center fire caliber. All original and numbers match 1792. Works as new, markings clear “ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW -YORK US AMERICA” on barrel, early “ COLTS PATENT ” ( early production, no dates ) on frame. Barrel 98% blue, cylinder 95% blue, Frame, Hammer, Trigger 98% case colors. Back Strap and Trigger Guard 98% SILVER plating.. Grips 98% varnish. Screws untouched.
