Rare Antique Frank Wesson Two Trigger Sporting Rifle

Beautiful Antique Frank Wesson Two Trigger Tip-Up Single-Shot Sporting Rifle, in rare .22 RF Caliber, serial no. 7836, 24" octagonal tip up barrel with a blade front sight, vacant rear dovetail with a rear tang Peep Sight. Top of Barrel is stamped, “FRANK WESSON WORCESTER, MASS./PAT'D OCT 25 1859 & NOV 11 1862”. Has a manual extractor bar at right breech, also has the slotted link at left which limits the barrel tip up travel. Iron frame in excellent condition as is the walnut stock. Action is crisp, barrel hinge is tight. Clean bore shows some scattered mild roughness and very good rifling.
