This Pietta is in excellent condition and a beautiful copy of the famous 1858 Remington New Model Army Model with the desirable steel frame. This was the most sturdy built and dependable of the Civil War cap & ball Army revolvers and Pietta did a very fine job manufacturing these.
This revolver appears like it may be unfired or at least very lightly used. The barrel measures about 8" and the bore is bright as well as shiny with strong rifling. The action works properly with tight lock up and this should be a fantastic shooter as well as fine addition to any collection. The price is right so don't miss out.
