Very nice looking Antique Smith & Wesson fourth Model Top Break double action revolver
Introducing the Smith & Wesson .32 double action, 4th model top break revolver, a true gem from the late 19th century. This particular model, serial number 62576, was produced between 1883 and 1909 . This serial number indicates it was probably made in 1885-86.
This revolver features a 5-shot capacity, auto shell ejecting, 3 ½" barrel , nickel finish , Hard rubber S&W logo grips in .32 S&W , making it a reliable choice for personal protection or target shooting. Despite its age, this revolver is in very good condition and has been well-maintained. It has a smooth action and is a pleasure to shoot. It's the perfect addition to any antique firearm collection or for those who appreciate a classic piece of history.
Condition: 3 ½" raised rib barrel with a nice bore , a couple spots of pinprick pitting from blackpowder use and still showing strong rifling. The metal surface still retains most of the original nickel. The original diamond checkered monogram hard rubber grips rate excellent. All barrel markings are clear and legible and all appropriate parts are serialized to the gun. Mechanically functions excellent in single and double action with nice timing and lock-up.
