This is a .50-caliber Kentucky Flintlock Pistol, a modern reproduction of an American classic that helped the colonials earn independence during the Revolutionary War and was even carried by early Western pioneers.
The bore is gray/ruddy, the rifling is deep and well defined. This contemporary example was most likely a kit pistol and is in Good Plus condition, showing light wear and an action that mechanically appears to function as it should.
