This is a Japanese WW II Army officer`s katana sword in combat mountings. The blade is 25-7/8 inch cutting edge shortened 7/8 inch. The blade is signed "Seki Junín Tsukahara Kanetsugu Saku with inspection stamp, WWll time period ca. 1930’s era made blade. Kanetsugu lived in Seki city, Gifu prefecture during WWll time. The blade is in old polish, with some scratches and staining towards the front end of the blade.
