Japanese. Type 26 / T26 / Model 1893. Revolver. 9mmJ Caliber. 6-Shot. Double Action. 4-½" Barrel. Serial number 1627. This was the Very First Japanese Designed Handgun Adopted by the Japanese Military. A Very Simple and Robust Design with a Easily Disassembled Action. Manufactured from 1893 and used Throughout WWII.
This does not have the “Fire Blued” small parts and was Japanese Arsenal Refinished. All Serial Number are Matching including the Grips and Cylinder. Early Production Examples in this Exceptional Condition are Very Hard to Find.

Condition: Very Finest Collector Condition. Showing Only Minor High Point Blue fading. No "Touch Up" or "Restoration". All Markings are Perfectly Sharp and Crisp. Walnut Checkered Grips are Perfect with No Chips, Cracks or Repairs. Perfect Bright Bore has Strong Sharp Rifling. Action is Tight and Dry Functions Perfectly.
