Originally produced by Iver Johnson to be affordable, everyday revolvers of their time, these top break revolvers have been a very large part of American firearms history. This is the Second Model made from 1896 to 1908. This will make a nostalgic addition to almost any vintage revolver collection.
The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks in each position.
The bore is light gray, the rifling is well-defined. There is mild erosion and persistent fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion and for the age, this bore rates a 7 or 8 out of 10.
