All serial numbers match. Below the serial number on the bottome left side of the gun are the letters "PTB", which are the initials of "Per Theodor Bergsten", who was an inspection officer. The inspection officer mark is a proof mark that the gun was issued to an officer of the Swedish Army. Guns unmarked without an inspection officers mark means the gun was sold commercially. On the right side of the gun is marked "L No 3700 A", which is a Swedish Home Guard issuance number this translates to "Landstormen Weapon #3700". The Model 1887 Nagant would go on to serve the Swedish Military for a very long time with the Swedish Landstorm Army units armed with the revolver in WWI and even during WWII.
