A Rare And Genuine Engraved Belgian Pinfire Revolver With Wicked ‘Bowie’ Knife Blade Integral With Frame Circa 1865.

4 and 1/2 inch round barrel. 36 caliber or 9 millimeter pinfire. 7 and 1/4 inch clip point ‘Bowie’ blade is 3/8ths inch wide capable of inflicting serious or fatal slashes. Most of these ‘oddity’ knife pinfire and other bladed antique pistols have had the blades added long after they were used. This one is a genuine period bladed revolver.

Six shot engraved cylinder, Barrel with line engraved octagonal breech. Fine line engraved solid frame. Finely checkered deluxe walnut grips. The action works on both single and double action. The bore is fair. 11 and 3/4 inches overall. A highly desirable ‘oddity’.
