This is a beautiful Colt Single Action Army Revolver, The colt letter states it was shipped to J.P. mores sons in new york october 11, 1883 it was shipped blued. This company was famous for having their colts engraved. it has the nimschke pattern and a nischke star, but i am not sure of the engraver. It is in beautiful condition. cylinder is tight, no blimishes doesn't appear to have been buffed or reconditioned, except when it was engraved.
it has a 4 ¾ inch barrel and is in a 44-40 caliber. originallly it would have had pearl grips on it after it was engraved. now it has mexican silver and 10k gold medalions on it.
