Colt Open Top Pocket Mode revolver – serial number 36312 – mfg 1874 – barrel and frame matching – mfg 1871 – 1877 with approx 114,200 built – approx 145 years old, not a lot survived a rare Colt – 7 shot cylinder - .22 shot or long caliber – top of barrel stamped “COLT’S PT.F.A MFG. CO HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.” - .22 cal stamped on the left side of its brass frame – hammer main spring whole but very weak – barrel to frame loose – 2 piece walnut grips are very good with no cracks or chips – cylinder very good but rotates by hand only – barrel has lots of rifling along with normal corrosion – a very rare piece that will look very good in your advanced Colt collection
