Wow, this is a great old Colt Model 1877 double action "Thunderer". Chambered in the desirable .41 Colt, 4-1/2" barrel, serial number 88973 - Made in 1892. The frame retains some bright original case colors with the balance being a light worn mottled silver. The cylinder, barrel and guard have nice bright fire blue with light wear to a silver. Partially shiny bore with strong rifling. Rates 8/10.
Old custom walnut grips fit well and are free of cracks.
The matching last 3 digits of the serial number are correctly marked on the rear face of the cylinder as well.
Action works fine in both single and double action.
Ships fully insured and will be packaged very well. Antique, No licence required.
